We began tracking the first half of Lynda Kay’s new album, and it went great. Producer Brad Benedict got us off to a good start booking the session in studio A at Capitol Records, which I had no complaints about. No sounds yet, but here are some photos.
Lynda Kay
Pretty self-explanatory.
Photos from the original Catalina’s Bar & Grill
My first experiences seeing live music were at Catalina’s Bar & Grill- a cozy jazz club formerly on Cahuenga Blvd. in Hollywood. Being a kid and getting to see such amazing musicians in such an intimate environment was definitely a factor in me keeping music a significant part of my life as I grew older. Here are a few photos from those days. Please forgive the haircuts.
New Sara Lindsay single released
I recently had the pleasure of recording with my sister Sara Lindsay on her new single Make It All Right, which premiered on the series finale of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and is now available on iTunes. Keep an eye out for the full album, due summer ’12.
Photos compliments of Nate the mysterious.
Nate is a good buddy of mine, and also takes good photos. He has a handful of vintage film cameras and I like his stuff, so I used it. Here are a couple more. If you too like his stuff, let me know, I’ll put you in touch with him. He wished to remain nameless, having something or nothing to do with his criminal record.
